Reading Tutoring (Currently Closed)
Prickly Pear Academy’s reading tutoring helps children at all levels. We support students who are learning basic reading skills and those who are ready to grow beyond their grade level.
Lessons use structured literacy based on the Science of Reading and Orton-Gillingham. This means students learn through clear steps and hands-on activities that build skills in:
Reading words
Understanding what they read
Growing vocabulary
Gaining reading confidence
Each child receives focused instruction to help them make strong, steady progress.
